It is the first business centre in Hong Kong to be certified with ISO9002 service quality certification and one of the firsts to build a full-service system. In 2000, CIBC ventured into mainland China by opening CDB Tower, the first business centre in China. Consequently, it implemented two bands: CIBC in Hong Kong and CFG in mainland China, establishing over 180 branches across nine major cities in China and 30 branches within Hong Kong by 2018.
